Markraft Counters Featured Install

Merry Christmas from Mark and the Markraft Counters team! Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday!

Today’s Featured Install comes from the home of Brian and Jill Augustine. A beautiful kitchen and bar in the Corian color Witchhazel. Freshly painted blue cabinets are a great match and they make the kitchen feel like the place to be in the house.

One addition we love is the 2in thick island top which acts as a focal point of the room and allows barstools to be placed underneath creating a nice breakfast spot as well.

A large undermount sink leaves plenty of room for dishes and fillings pots and pans, also leaving room for the reverse osmosis water system.

One of the unique benefits of Corian is the ability to install high splashes in the matching color to the tops. These allow for much easier cleaning than tile and grout and will be custom cut to fit any wall. We also made sure to perfectly carry the color veining across the seam on both sides of the stove.

The same style was also carried into the bar, with custom cut splashes around the windowsill. Finished off with a deep undermount stainless sink here as well.
